Our digital recording setup can capture upwards of 16 mics at a time! While this is almost never completely necessary for studio recording, it shows the versatility available for a live recording setup.
With a wide array of amplifiers and drums available for use, whether you are a new band who has not yet acquired your own gear or a long-running project looking to mix things up, we have options for you.

Our recording setup is fully mobile, so if you’ve got a practice space, basement, hole you dug in your backyard, etc that you prefer to be recorded in we will be happy to come to you to track! If you don’t have a space, we can help with that too. Our homebase is located in a house on Buffalo’s east-side and has occasionally been doing live shows for years under the name Pallet Town. Bring your gear here or share the spaces available equipment!

We offer all aspects of the recording process here at True Outsiders. From tracking to mixing to mastering, and even cassette duplication if that’s the direction you decide to go with your project, we can do it all!
Have an engineer you already like working with for mixing? No problem! We will gladly track and pass off the files.
Have a finished recording that needs the extra little ‘oomph’ of mastering? We can do that too!
